Wireframing
Wireframing is the process of creating a rough sketch of an application's user interface, which is used to plan the layout and structure of the page before more detailed visual design and technical development begins. Wireframes usually consist of simple representations of the main elements of an application, such as headers, footers, navigation menus, buttons, forms, and content areas. With wireframing, teams of developers and designers can ensure that they have a solid foundation before moving on to the visual design and technical development stages, reducing the risk of major, expensive changes later on.
